Just a quick update on where you can find me over the next couple of weeks...
Firstly, I'm going to be giving my slightly revamped Superhero Sex talk at the Irregular Folks festival at the T.O.A.D. Distillery in Oxford on Saturday 7 July (tomorrow!) with the rest of the Odditorium gang! My talk is at 16:45 (after the football!) but I'll be around from about 13:00 onwards. I'll have copies of Comic Book Babylon: A Cautionary Tale of Sex, Drugs & Comics and How Comics Work for sale as well.
Then on 19-21 July I'll be at the San Diego Comic Con. Dave Gibbons and I will be signing copies of our Eisner-Nominated How Comics Work on the Fanfare Presents stand (#5541) between 11:00-Midday on those days. There are limited tickets for the signing so you'll need to pick one up from Fanfare in advance, but there aren't many available so grab one early to avoid disappointment!
Finally, I'll be at London Film and Comic Con as a guest on 27-29 July, and with a table where I'll have free copies of Rachael Smith & Jacob Philip's excellent Jack & Lucy (which I edited) to give away! Yes, FREE!! and I'll be taking part in a Vertigo 25th Anniversary panel and running a brief Symposium talking about editing comics and what editors look for in pitches.
